A PROTOCOL FOR PREVENTION OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE is a very important and useful document to built in a participatory process in an organization, in order to bring awareness about gender-based violence, and establish clear processes to prevent and to act in case a situation of violence occur.
It is a way of preventing behaviours perceived as discriminatory, violent or harassing on grounds of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression in the organization.
It makes it easier to manage a situation if any of these situations occurs.
