GATE process for organizational change

We aim for organizational transformation to support gender equality in workplaces. In a collaborative process we work with different organizations, where we uncover gender related inequalities and work on solutions for a more inclusive organizational culture. Based on this experience and further research, we create a methodological guide for the transition of organizations towards gender equality.


Why organizational change?

  • Organizations are substantial micro-systems in our societies.
  • We spend about 8 hours a day in organizations.
  • In this time we might experience e.g. emotional support or micro-aggressions that have an impact on our personal developement.
  • Organizational culture is key for our wellbeing during and after working hours.
  • Organizational norms also set the framework for other sustaining activities such as care work.
  • That’s why transforming organizations towards more gender awareness can foster gender equality within workspaces and beyond.
