Pinkwashing or “rainbow-washing” is a term that refers to brands, companies, events and contexts that use marketing or political strategies to show support for LGBTQIA+ rights, but only in situations that help them position themselves or generate economic benefit, and definitely not in ongoing policies or actions.

🏳️‍🌈Today, 28 June, critical pride is being celebrated in many places. This social, cultural and activist movement is necessary for the struggle that is still underway and to celebrate and defend what is already achieved. In this month of Pride, we continue our campaign to make visible situations of violence suffered by LGBTQIA+ people, in order to provide keys and tools to avoid them and, when they occur, to transform them. Today we are highlighting some of the violence suffered by bisexual people. BI* identity is here and historically needs space. So share it, make it visible. Let’s celebrate our diversity with pride.
